But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him, and when he saw him, he felt compassion.

Therefore the Samaritan woman *said to Him, “How do You, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

The Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”
