Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying,

Now at this time Mary arose and went in a hurry to the hill country, to a city of Judah,

And all who heard it marveled at the things which were told them by the shepherds.

And astonishment seized them all and they began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

And fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited His people!”

And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified.

And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.

And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard these things.

And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard.

Thus Joshua struck all the land—the hill country and the Negev and the Shephelah and the slopes—as well as all their kings. He left no survivor remaining, but he devoted to destruction all who breathed, just as Yahweh, the God of Israel, had commanded.

Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Do not abandon your slaves; come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that live in the hill country have assembled against us.”

But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.
