But the rest fled to Aphek into the city, and the wall fell on 27,000 men who were left. And Ben-hadad fled and came into the city into an inner chamber.

“Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, prophesy against her

from the tribe of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi;

the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;

to the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, as far as Aphek, to the border of the Amorite;

and Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, as far as Great Sidon.

Then the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and it ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Helkath with its pasture lands and Rehob with its pasture lands; four cities.

Asher did not dispossess the inhabitants of Acco or the inhabitants of Sidon, or of Ahlab or of Achzib or of Helbah or of Aphik or of Rehob.

Then the Philistines gathered together all their camps to Aphek, while the Israelites were camping by the spring which is in Jezreel.

Thus the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to meet the Philistines in battle and camped beside Ebenezer, and the Philistines camped in Aphek.
