Poor is he who works with a slack hand, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, But the soul of the diligent is enriched.

The way of the sluggard is as a hedge of thorns, But the path of the upright is a highway.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no working or explaining or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

In that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear, O Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.

And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing around; and he *said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day long?’

Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, set His seal.”

Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Now Joshua was old, advanced in years, and Yahweh said to him, “You are old, advanced in years, and very much of the land remains to be possessed.

And there remained among the sons of Israel seven tribes who had not divided their inheritance.

Provide for yourselves three men from each tribe that I may send them, and that they may arise and walk through the land and write a description of it according to their inheritance; then they shall return to me.

And they said, “Arise, and let us go up against them; for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very good. And will you be silent? Do not delay to go, to enter, to possess the land.
