The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how do You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’

Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”

Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?”

You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.”

Then He said again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

But a natural man does not accept the depths of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually examined.
