Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.

Where then are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, ‘The king of Babylon will not come against you or against this land’?

“Kerioth has been captured, And the strongholds have been seized, So the hearts of the mighty men of Moab in that day Will be like the heart of a woman in labor.

The prophets prophesy with lying, And the priests have dominion by their own hand; And My people love it so! But what will you do at the end of it?
