For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror;

“As for the message that you have spoken to us in the name of Yahweh, we are not going to listen to you!

Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and does them, I will show you whom he is like:

And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He heals on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him.

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

for once he looked at himself and has gone away, he immediately forgot what kind of person he was.
