So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

Then the days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were 800 years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.

And Seth lived 105 years and became the father of Enosh.

So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

For we will surely die and are like water spilled on the ground which cannot be gathered up again. Yet God does not take away life, but thinks up ways so that the banished one will not be cast out from him.

For the living know they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor have they any longer a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.

Let your clothes be white all the time, and let not oil be lacking on your head.

Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.

by loving Yahweh your God, by listening to His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
