And behold, from the Nile there came up seven cows, sleek and fat; and they grazed in the reeds.

Now it happened at the end of two full years that Pharaoh had a dream, and behold, he was standing by the Nile.

and behold, seven cows, fat and sleek came up out of the Nile, and they grazed in the reeds.

Then behold, seven other cows came up after them from the Nile, ugly and thin, and they stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile.

¶“Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the rushes grow without water?

The rivers will emit a stench, The streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up; The reeds and rushes will rot away.

The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile And all the sown fields by the Nile Will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
