And Isaac his father said to him, “Who are you?” And he said, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”
And Jacob said, “First swear to me”; so he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob.
So Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew; and he ate and drank and rose and went away. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
Then he came to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?”
