Serve Yahweh with fear And rejoice with trembling.

¶Who is the man who fears Yahweh? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

The secret of Yahweh is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.

And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may be with you, so that you may not sin.”

¶The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; Ignorant fools despise wisdom and discipline.

The end of the matter, all that has been heard: fear God and keep His commandments, because this is the end of the matter for all mankind.

and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, a thing which I never commanded or spoke of, nor did it ever come upon My heart,

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

And Samuel said, “Has Yahweh as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of Yahweh? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
