Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said in his heart, “Will a son be born to a man one hundred years old? And will Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a son?”

“Shout for joy, O barren woman, who has not given birth; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor; For more numerous are the sons of the desolate one Than the sons of the married woman,” says Yahweh.

Cursed be the man who brought the good news To my father, saying, “A baby boy has been born to you!” And made him very glad.

And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.

And her neighbors and her relatives heard that the Lord had magnified His great mercy toward her, and they were rejoicing with her.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep,

By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she regarded Him faithful who had promised.

And she said, “Oh, my lord! As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you, praying to Yahweh.
