This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your seed after you: every male among you shall be circumcised.

And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and you.

Then Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all who were born in his house and all who were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s household, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the very same day, as God had spoken with him.

Now all the men of his household, who were born in the house or bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.

Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.

Only on this condition will we consent to you: if you will become like us, in that every male among you be circumcised,

Only on this condition will the men consent to us to live with us, to become one people: that every male among us be circumcised as they are circumcised.

Then Zipporah took a flint and cut off her son’s foreskin and touched his feet with it, and she said, “You are indeed a bridegroom of blood to me!”

For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man.

And He gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so Abraham was the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac was the father of Jacob, and Jacob of the twelve patriarchs.

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.

whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith, for a demonstration of His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

since indeed God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that faith, is one.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

As many as are wanting to make a good showing in the flesh, these are trying to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

Therefore, remember that formerly you—the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands—

So circumcise your heart, and stiffen your neck no longer.

“Moreover Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.

For we are the circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and boast in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh,

At that time Yahweh said to Joshua, “Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise again the sons of Israel the second time.”

Now this is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: all the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, died in the wilderness along the way when they came out of Egypt.
