And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can number the dust of the earth, then your seed can also be numbered.

And He brought him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your seed be.”

As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?

For I have known him, so that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of Yahweh to do righteousness and justice, so that Yahweh may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.”

Thus it happened, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, that God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot lived.

Now Abraham was old, advanced in age; and Yahweh had blessed Abraham in every way.

And Yahweh has greatly blessed my master, so he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and male slaves and female slaves, and camels and donkeys.

Now it happened after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac lived by Beer-lahai-roi.

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your seed I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.

And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and I will give your seed all these lands; and by your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;

May peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you; Be master of your brothers, And may your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be those who curse you, And blessed be those who bless you.”

And your seed will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

God also said to him, “I am God Almighty; Be fruitful and multiply; A nation and an assembly of nations shall come from you, And kings shall come forth from your loins.

And He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there.

And I have been with you wherever you have gone and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.

And also, the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name and his throne greater than your throne!’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

“Your wickedness is for a man like yourself, And your righteousness is for a son of man.

Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly, And He does not let their cattle decrease.

But the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased and multiplied and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them.

Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may consume them; and I will make you a great nation.”

“Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who brought you forth through labor pains; When he was but one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him.”

I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing.

You will give truth to Jacob And lovingkindness to Abraham, Which You swore to our fathers From the days of old.

And it will be that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.’

I will strike them with pestilence and dispossess them, and I will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they.”

And God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.”

“Behold, I have received a command to bless; When He has blessed, then I cannot revoke it.

and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be counted to them,

in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

so know that those who are of faith, those are sons of Abraham.

And you shall answer and say before Yahweh your God, ‘My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number; but there he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.
