And God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good.

And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.

¶Let the glory of Yahweh endure forever; Let Yahweh be glad in His works;

Who made heaven and earth, The sea and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever;

He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.

And he said to them, “I am a Hebrew, and I fear Yahweh, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

“The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
