We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet, Nor is there any among us who knows how long.

And behold, six men were coming from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his shattering weapon in his hand; and among them was a certain man clothed in linen with a scribe’s case at his loins. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank of the river.

As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?”

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes desolation, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?”

And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, “Gabriel, give this man an understanding of what has appeared.”

Now as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?”

so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been declared to you through those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look.

and the seven angels who have the seven plagues came out of the sanctuary, clothed in linen, clean and bright, and girded around their chests with golden sashes.

And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, holy and true? Will You not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
