“So I will send fire upon the wall of Gaza, And it will consume her citadels.

Thus says Yahweh, “For three transgressions of Tyre and for four I will not turn back its punishment Because they delivered up the whole community of exiles to Edom And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.

“On the day that you stood aloof, On the day that strangers took his wealth captive And foreigners entered his gate And cast lots for Jerusalem— You too were as one of them.

Now these are the golden tumors which the Philistines returned for a guilt offering to Yahweh: one for Ashdod, one for Gaza, one for Ashkelon, one for Gath, one for Ekron;
