the promise to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly serve God night and day. And for this hope, O King, I am being accused by Jews.

as we night and day keep praying most earnestly that we may see your face, and may complete what is lacking in your faith?

Now she who is a widow indeed and who has been left alone, has fixed her hope on God and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.
