Acts 20:1

Now after the uproar had ceased, Paul having summoned and exhorted the disciples, said farewell and left to go to Macedonia.

Now the eyes of Israel were so dim from age that he could not see. Then Joseph brought them close to him, and he kissed them and embraced them.

and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it happened that for an entire year they met with the church and taught a considerable crowd. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia, a Roman colony; and we were staying in this city for some days.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

Now after these things were finished, Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

But Paul went down and fell upon him, and after embracing him, he said, “Do not be troubled, for his life is in him.”

And when he had gone through those districts and had given them much exhortation, he came to Greece.

And there he spent three months, and when a plot was formed against him by the Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he decided to return through Macedonia.

And they began to weep aloud and falling on Paul’s neck, they were kissing him,

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.

All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

But I will come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia;

Greet one another with a holy kiss.

For even when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side—conflicts without, fears within.

Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

As I exhorted you when going to Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may command certain ones not to teach a different doctrine,
