And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade both Jews and Greeks.

This took place for two years, so that all who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

Now there were in all about twelve men.

But when some were becoming hardened and were not believing, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, he left them and took away the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

Therefore be watchful, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.

And when they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly bearing witness about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you exhorting that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
