Now Jacob loved Rachel, so he said, “I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”

So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they were in his sight but a few days because of his love for her.

And he was deeply attracted to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the young woman and spoke to the heart of the young woman.

Now King Solomon loved many foreign women along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women,

the third was Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;

All these were the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.

Do not desire her beauty in your heart, Nor let her capture you with her eyelids.
