And he said, “O Yahweh, the God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven above or upon earth beneath, keeping covenant and lovingkindness to Your slaves who walk before You with all their heart,

Let your heart therefore be wholly devoted to Yahweh our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day.”

As for you, if you will walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you and will keep My statutes and My judgments,

Then he turned his face to the wall and prayed to Yahweh, saying,

Now it happened that Isaiah had not gone out of the middle court, and the word of Yahweh came to him, saying,

For the eyes of Yahweh move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is wholly devoted to Him. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”

Remember me for this, O my God, and do not blot out my lovingkindnesses which I have shown for the house of my God and its responsibilities.

And I said to the Levites that they should cleanse themselves and come as gatekeepers to keep the sabbath day holy. For this also remember me, O my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness.

and I arranged for the supply of wood at fixed times and for the first fruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless, upright, fearing God, and turning away from evil.

Then Yahweh said to Satan, “Have you set your heart upon My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”

“My friends are my scoffers; My eye weeps to God.

“Is not your fear of God your confidence, And the integrity of your ways your hope?

For I have eaten ashes like bread And mixed my drinks with weeping

I have recounted my ways, and You have answered me; Teach me Your statutes.

¶Remember the word to Your slave, In which You have made me wait.

Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For the sake of Your goodness, O Yahweh.

Give justice to me, O Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity, And I have trusted in Yahweh; I will not waver.

For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

How blessed is the man whose iniquity Yahweh will not take into account, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!

“Turn Your gaze away from me, that I may smile again Before I go and am no more.”

¶I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I flood my couch with my tears.

My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries.

Remember what my span of life is; For what vanity You have created all the sons of men!

Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your slaves; How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples,

“Like a swallow, like a crane, so I chirped; I moan like a dove; My eyes look wistfully to the heights; O Lord, I am oppressed, be my security.

Then His people remembered the ancient days, of Moses. Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them,

And you will swear, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ In truth, in justice, and in righteousness; Then the nations will be blessed in Him, And in Him they will boast.”

For thus says Yahweh to the house of Israel, “Seek Me that you may live.

And they were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and righteous requirements of the Lord.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said about him, “Behold, truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!”

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

He, in the days of His flesh, offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.
