But the hand of Yahweh was on Elijah, and he girded up his loins and outran Ahab unto where you enter Jezreel.

And he said to them, “What kind of man was he who came up to meet you and spoke these words to you?”

at that time Yahweh spoke by the hand of Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and take your shoes off your feet.” And he did so, going naked and barefoot.

And it will be in that day, that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a hairy mantle in order to deceive;

But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ palaces!

Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.

And John was clothed with camel’s hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and was eating locusts and wild honey.

And he will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

And I will give authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
