Then Samuel said to the people, “It is Yahweh who appointed Moses and Aaron and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt.

He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron, whom He had chosen.

He opened the rock and water flowed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.

¶Moses and Aaron were among His priests, And Samuel was among those who called on His name; They would call upon Yahweh and He would answer them.

It was the same Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.”

They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was the same Moses and Aaron.

But by a prophet Yahweh brought Israel up from Egypt, And by a prophet he was kept.

“Indeed, I brought you up from the land of Egypt And ransomed you from the house of slavery, And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
