And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the whole world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

But now I am going to Jerusalem to serve the saints.

Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it.

For who regards you as superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

And working together with Him, we also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the good news of the unfathomable riches of Christ,

And He Himself gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day—and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus.

For the overseer must be beyond reproach as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of dishonest gain,

For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and continuing to minister to the saints.

And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, strengthen, confirm, and ground you.

Through Silvanus, our faithful brother as I regard him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and bearing witness that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!
