And Baasha slept with his fathers and was buried in Tirzah, and Elah his son became king in his place.
Then Jeroboam’s wife arose and went away and came to Tirzah. As she was entering the threshold of the house, the child died.
Now it happened that when Baasha heard of it, he ceased building up Ramah and remained in Tirzah.
