Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and make manifest the motives of hearts. And then each one’s praise will come to him from God.

“He reveals mysteries from the darkness And brings out the shadows of death into light.

A man will be praised according to his insight, But one of perverse heart will be despised.

Be glad, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be merry during the days of young manhood. And walk in the ways of your heart and in the sights of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things.

For God will bring every work to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes.

“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy a lie in My name, saying, ‘I had a dream, I had a dream!’

So you will return and see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.

“Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’

“And do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.

Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

Therefore this saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”

How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the only God?

Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;

so that you are not lacking in any gift, eagerly awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no other practice, nor have the churches of God.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until He comes.

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming.

each man’s work will become evident, for the day will indicate it because it is revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.

If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

For it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

for I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters.

but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are uncovered and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we have an account to give.

Do not slander one another, brothers. He who slanders a brother or judges his brother, slanders the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the soil, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains.

Do not groan, brothers, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing right at the door.

so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens burning will be destroyed, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”

But Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, also prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones,

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. Yes, amen.

Then I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.
