A brutish man knoweth not; Neither doth a fool understand this.

So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

Understand, ye brutish among the people: And ye fools, when will ye be wise?

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge?

For he seeth that wise men die, Likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Wisdom is too high for a fool: He openeth not his mouth in the gate.

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

Surely I am more brutish than any man, And have not the understanding of a man.

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: Whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, There is none that doeth good.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
