Let my prayer come before thee: Incline thine ear unto my cry;
Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: Be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
Also when I cry and shout, He shutteth out my prayer.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord: For I cry unto thee daily.
I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
