There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

So the LORD alone did lead him, And there was no strange god with him.

Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
