O LORD God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to visit all the heathen: Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

How long, LORD? Wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, That our prayer should not pass through.

Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

the LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
