Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: Deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, And from a deceitful tongue.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

For great is thy mercy toward me: And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

But as for me, my prayer Is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy Hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

How long, LORD? Wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
