How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: And in keeping of them there is great reward.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, And knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace.

For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: Eat, O friends; Drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
