Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, And to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

I have put off my coat; How shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; How shall I defile them?

Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.

Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
