For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; They shall withal be fitted in thy lips.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

With my lips have I declared All the judgments of thy mouth.

I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.

My lips shall utter praise, When thou hast taught me thy statutes.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: But a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

The lips of the righteous feed many: But fools die for want of wisdom.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: But the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.

A word fitly spoken Is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart.

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; And the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
