He that followeth after righteousness and mercy Findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

So shall they be life unto thy soul, And grace to thy neck.

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: The fruit of the wicked to sin.

As righteousness tendeth to life: So he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
