And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.


Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; He soweth discord.


Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:


A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth.


My soul is among lions: And I lie even among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

He that laboureth laboureth for himself; For his mouth craveth it of him.


A froward man soweth strife: And a whisperer separateth chief friends.


He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: Moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.


An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: And the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
