Yea, thou castest off fear, And restrainest prayer before God.

But I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.

Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; For the hand of God hath touched me.

A friend loveth at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble Is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
