Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, Or a way for the lightning of thunder;

When he made a decree for the rain, And a way for the lightning of the thunder:

By what way is the light parted, Which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; On the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
