He directeth it under the whole heaven, And his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

For he looketh to the ends of the earth, And seeth under the whole heaven;

When he made a decree for the rain, And a way for the lightning of the thunder:

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: He scattereth his bright cloud:

And it is turned round about by his counsels: That they may do whatsoever he commandeth them Upon the face of the world in the earth.

After it a voice roareth: He thundereth with the voice of his excellency; And he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, That the wicked might be shaken out of it?

Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, And say unto thee, Here we are?

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is so great a God as our God?

His lightnings enlightened the world: The earth saw, and trembled.

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
