For Job hath said, I am righteous: And God hath taken away my judgment.
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: My judgment was as a robe and a diadem.
Not for any injustice in mine hands: Also my prayer is pure.
For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, And I am clean in thine eyes.
Thou knowest that I am not wicked; And there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.
Return, I pray you, let it not be iniquity; Yea, return again, my righteousness is in it.
Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
Let us choose to us judgment: Let us know among ourselves what is good.
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Doth God pervert judgment? Or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
