Lo, all these things worketh God Oftentimes with man,

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
