Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, And hearken to all my words.

Hear now my reasoning, And hearken to the pleadings of my lips.

And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Hear my words, O ye wise men; And give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

For I know not to give flattering titles; In so doing my Maker would soon take me away.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth, My tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

Hear diligently my speech, And my declaration with your ears.
