They were amazed, they answered no more: They left off speaking.

And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

After my words they spake not again; And my speech dropped upon them.

Now he hath not directed his words against me: Neither will I answer him with your speeches.

When I had waited, (for they spake not, But stood still, and answered no more;)
