Shall any teach God knowledge? Seeing he judgeth those that are high.

Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; Yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, When the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

Behold, God exalteth by his power: Who teacheth like him?

Who hath enjoined him his way? Or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?

Gird up now thy loins like a man; For I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

Behold, he put no trust in his servants; And his angels he charged with folly:

Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? He that reproveth God, let him answer it.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods.

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
