The snare is laid for him in the ground, And a trap for him in the way.
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, And a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: This shall be the portion of their cup.
The gin shall take him by the heel, And the robber shall prevail against him.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, And shall drive him to his feet.
