Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, And all my members are as a shadow.
My face is foul with weeping, And on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
Mine eye is consumed because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
For this our heart is faint; For these things our eyes are dim.
For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: And my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; My skin is broken, and become loathsome.
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
