His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; And they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

But his flesh upon him shall have pain, And his soul within him shall mourn.

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, When the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

They are exalted for a little while, but are gone And brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, And cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
