Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, That I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: All thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: Mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch;

When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

From above hath he sent fire into my bones, And it prevaileth against them: He hath spread a net for my feet, He hath turned me back: He hath made me desolate And faint all the day.

Let all their wickedness come before thee; And do unto them, As thou hast done unto me For all my transgressions: For my sighs are many, And my heart is faint.

But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion According to the multitude of his mercies.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
