Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honour, And didst set him over the works of thy hands:
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:
to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
